Founded in 2020, Gamalab was created to become a national and regional reference center in laboratory and clinical research services.

We offer integrated solutions covering pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical processes, as well as logistics and biobank services. Our work is carried out under the highest quality standards, ensuring accurate, timely and reliable results for our clients and partners.

Francisco García

General Manager

Pharmaceutical Chemist and Biologist with an Executive Master's in Business Administration and over 20 years of experience leading clinical research operations and global projects across Latin America. He has directed Phase I–IV studies in multiple therapeutic areas, including vaccines, biologics and real-world evidence studies, while building strategic alliances with clients, suppliers and academia in the region.

Leidy Bastidas Legarda, PhD

Operations Manager

Dentist, Master's in Basic Biomedical Sciences with emphasis in virology and immunology, and PhD in Biomedical Sciences with emphasis in immunovirology. She has experience in basic and clinical research, advanced PBMC handling, immunology and virology. She currently leads the operational execution of clinical studies focused mainly on vaccines and infectious diseases, ensuring quality, traceability and reliability at every stage of the process.

Luisa Villa

Quality and Training Manager

Bacteriologist and Clinical Laboratory Scientist, Specialist in Biotechnology and Clinical Practice Improvement, and Master's in Clinical Safety and Quality in Healthcare. She has extensive experience in integrated management systems, auditing and the implementation of international quality standards for clinical and research laboratories. She currently leads Gamalab's quality and continuous improvement strategy, strengthening the lab's operational excellence and technical competence.
